Living Social is organizing a beer festival in collaboration with One Brick during the weekend of the 6th and the 7th of December in Brooklyn.

They advertise it as a craft beer fest, something which seems a little bit too encasing here. It would be like calling David Bowie a musician... or straight.

The description as a craft beer fest is called into question by the presence of, among others, Carlsberg, Kronenbourg and Cervecería Modelo. Heck, if you want to get really anal about it, calling it a beer fest would not be entirely correct either given the presence of both cider and wine producers.

Be that as it may, the bottom line is there will be a whole bunch of craft breweries present and you will get unlimited tastings of their beers, as well as of wines and ciders.

This will come at a general admission price of $39, for which you will also receive a commemorative mini stein (the traditional German beer mug you may have seen in the Oktoberfest pictures), as well as access to multiple lawn games and activities. There are also VIP tickets available for a price of $59, which on top of the above will allow you to access the event an hour earlier.

Food trucks will be available on the premise and there will also be live music throughout.
