In mid-November, the internationally renowned Mondial de la Bière will be disembarking in South America for the first time ever. Following the trend set by other events taking place there in the course of the next few years, it will transport its gigantic festival to Brazil and, more specifically, to that incomparable setting which is Rio de Janeiro.

The event will take place in the Espaço Ação Cidadania, a gigantic space which will allow for a whopping 4,500 square meters (over 48,000 square feet) of festival.

It will house over 400 different exhibitors, between brewers, importers and distributors, most of which will have beer available for tasting at a price of R$4.

There will also be several workshops on different subjects such as pairing or homebrewing (which you can attend regardless of the day your ticket is for), as well as debates, food, and a beer shop, where you will be able to buy beer to take home.

"Petit Pubs" will also be installed, in order to enjoy different beers not widely available otherwise, chosen especially for the occasion.

The event will also host the Mondial de la Bière contest, where the best among the beers present will be voted.

Tickets cost R$40 per day (the four day pass is R$120)  and include a commemorative glass for the event.
