I have seen that the Tryon Beer Fest will take place this Saturday.
Participating brewers will include Sierra Nevada Brewing Co., BottleTree Beer Co., Appalachian Brewery, Pisgah Brewing, RJ Rockers Brewing Co., Lonerider Brewing Co., Natty Greene's Brewing Co., Thomas Creek, French Broad Brewing Co, Highland Brewing Co., Sweet Water Brewing Co., Samuel Adams, Foothills, New Belgium Brewing, Oskar Blues Brewery, Carolina Beer Co., Asheville Brewing, Abita Beer, and Catawba Valley Brewing Co.
Bavarian music will be played throughout the day. In keeping with this, the fest will also serve German food, including soft pretzels.
For those not feeling too German-y, there's a rock concert by the Trophy Husbands scheduled and pizza will also be available.
Proceeds from the event will be used to fund projects to improve downtown Tryon.
